Creatify's strength is speed from a link: paste a product page and get ad variations, with a large library of AI actors and templates. It suits online sellers who want volume. Watch the credit limits on each plan, and remember that person-led, UGC-style ads need a clear AI label on TikTok.
HeyGen is the one to look at when a single recurring presenter should speak in several languages. It is built around avatars rather than product footage, so it is a less natural fit for a shop that wants its own products on screen.
Arcads focuses on one sequence: write a script, choose an actor and get a talking-head performance. Reviewers rate its actor realism highly, and it targets performance marketers testing many hooks. Its entry price is high compared with the others, and no free trial is reported.
Zeely and Predis.ai add scheduling to creation. Zeely builds a posting plan for TikTok and Instagram with a final check before launch; Predis.ai offers auto-publishing, templates and carousels. If you need a calendar rather than one-off clips, start here.
TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio is free to TikTok advertisers, Google has put Veo 3.1 inside Google Ads, and Meta's Advantage+ creative is free with ad spend. If you only run paid ads on one platform, try these first. The trade-offs: each works on its own platform only, with less creative control, and none of them plans your organic posts.
Kawra AI is an all-in-one creation platform. In one account you can make video from text or from a photo, talking presenter videos, animation and cartoons, images, songs and music videos; edit audio and video by describing the change you want; build short ads; and turn a concept into a film shot by shot with Director Mode. You pay with credits: the price is shown before every run, a step that fails is not charged, and credits from packs never expire. New accounts get 10 free credits; free-plan creations carry a Kawra watermark, and any credit pack removes it.
Who it suits: small businesses, shops and creators who want everything in one place and prefer paying for what they use. Who it doesn't suit: teams that need a huge library of realistic AI actors for hundreds of UGC-style variants a week. Creatify or Arcads are built for that.
Most platforms now expect realistic AI content to be labelled, and the EU AI Act adds duties in 2026. Read our short checklist: AI-generated ads: labelling rules for small businesses. To plan your budget, see how much an AI video ad costs.
Several tools have free tiers (Creatify, HeyGen, Predis, Canva and Kawra AI), but free plans usually add a watermark and limits. TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio is free for TikTok advertisers, and Meta's AI creative is free with ad spend but works on Meta only.
Subscriptions start around $19 to $39 a month for most tools, with higher entry prices for actor-based tools. Pay-as-you-go credits can put a short vertical ad at roughly one to two dollars. See our cost guide for a full breakdown.
Often yes. TikTok requires AI disclosure on ads with realistic AI content, Meta and YouTube have their own labels, and the EU AI Act adds transparency duties. Read our labelling guide for a checklist.
